Why? Why? Why?

I have found it a bit overwhelming to have had a multitude of people ask me this specific question over and over in the past few weeks. Some with excitement and some with disdain. Here's my answer: Sometimes in life God clearly points you in the direction in which you need to go. He opens the right doors and slams the others so the path is clear. He also gives you that peace about it that is simply quite unexplainable. That is why I'm going. I know I'm supposed to be in Kuwait this next year. There is no other way to explain it. I have trusted God with many smaller things in my life and am trusting Him with this HUGE thing! Like I said, I know I'm supposed to be there. Am I scared? No. Am I nervous? No. Why? Because I know I'm supposed to be there! :) Philippians 4:6-7

I don't know how to add a song to my blog so that it will automatically play (I know, I really am a technological dolt!), so here are just the lyrics and a link to the song I am adopting as my theme song for this adventure. Check out the link to actually HEAR it! LOL

"Where You Lead Me" by MercyMe
What is life? A thousand roads, a thousand ways.
So why am I so afraid to move? I crossed the line.
I'm stepping out so come what may, I give it all cause I'm drawn to you.
As long as my heart is beating...where You lead me, I will follow.
Where You lead me, I give my life away.
Where You lead me, I will follow forever and a day.

I can't deny your very presence is my life and why would I ever turn away?
Cause deep inside I know that I cannot rely on anything less than faith.
As long as my heart is beating...where You lead me, I will follow.
Where You lead me, I give my life away.
Where You lead me, I will follow forever and a day.

This is all I'm dreaming of, to live completely in Your love.
Where You lead me, I will follow. Where You lead me, I give my life away.
Where You lead me, I will follow forever and a day.
