**I just realized that I did not actually publish this blog post (totally thought I had...) before I headed out to work at a Bible camp for a few weeks! It's a little old now, but thought I should post it anyways! :) **
I am once again surprised by the blessings God dishes out! Last night I went to go pick up a key to the place I'm staying at for the summer, only to find out that it was not just a key pick up, but a surprise Christmas party for me because I missed Christmas this year! LOL
My friends went all out and transformed Jodi's house into "Christmas-land"! There was a fully decorated and lit tree, fake pine bough garland all down the banister and lit with pretty white lights, the stockings were hung by the piano with care, Christmas music blaring, Christmas decorations everywhere, a fabulous full-blown turkey dinner, Christmas cookies and even a gift exchange to enjoy with 15 friends! It was simply AMAZING...........AND it was exactly 6 months from actual Christmas, which topped it off to make it perfect! :)
I honestly don't know what to say except that I was stunned and touched greatly last night and I am still feeling that way today. THANK YOU to everyone for organizing this and making me feel like I didn't miss Christmas this year! It truly was a surprise - I didn't even see it coming! LOL
